To pray for the peace of Jerusalem is a good thing and when we do we are hoping that God will bless us for it. This isn’t enough, but it is where we stop. God wants us to truly love Israel and reach them with the Gospel so that they can have eternal life the same as us. The Church doesn’t seem to want this and it is seen in their actions. Like a rock in the middle of a stream we as Christians must wake up to the truth and make a stand.

Paul spoke of the blindness that had happened to Israel in Romans 11: 20-21 and reminded the Gentiles that if they boast against the Jew that they could be cut off as well. When we say that we are going to be raptured out of this world and the Jews left behind to be saved another way we are lying to ourselves. It is boasting us against the Jewish people and it is anti-Semitic. This has caused a partial blindness to come upon the Gentile people. We think that God favors us over the Jewish people. It isn’t true.

The fullness of the Gentiles is the commission to take the Gospel to the Jew so that through our mercy they might find mercy to be saved. This is God’s love and his plan (Romans 11: 31-32).

The scripture in Jeremiah 30: 6 tells us of a time when all men's faces will be turned to paleness. I believe that this will begin when the seven year peace treaty is signed and the Church realizes that it hasn't left yet. Another time will be when the anti-Christ goes into the Temple and declares himself to be God. We are so spoiled, what are we going to do to recover ourselves from this? I believe that we have to prepare ourselves now, spiritually and in our minds.

We are talking about Israel's last chance for salvation before the Lord comes back. Contrary to what many deceiving preachers are saying today Israel does not have a separate covenant to be saved. They must hear a preacher and be saved through the preaching of the Word. There is only one covenant and that is the New Covenant of Jesus. He is the only way. With our own family or friends would we want to run the risk of thinking that they can be saved after Jesus returns? This is the logic of the Church.
