Jesus will not return until Israel is saved Jesus will not return until Israel has accepted Jesus as their savior. Do you find this disturbing? We should be disturbed because this statement is true. I am about to share some information with you that will sound like a fairytale to many of you. The reason it will sound like a fairytale is because it is something that is not commonly taught. God wants to use you and me in this work, if we won't he will use someone else. Personally I want to be a part of it, even if it is just a small part. As I go into this information I would like to ask you to ask God concerning what I am telling you. I believe that if you do, you will be surprised to see that the Holy Spirit and the Word of God supports what I am sharing. This last day work is going to be very dramatic and very important, so important that millions of lives and souls are dependant upon us being willing to do what God wants us to do. Our first and most important work to do for God is of course what we call "the great commission." The word "commission" is a word that describes a community work together to accomplish a particular mission. Break it down into two words "com" and then "mission" and you get the idea. A commission is something that we should all be involved in. And we are to be involved in the Great Commission to take the Gospel to the World. As the time draws closer to the end it is imperative that we as Christians realize that there is something that God wants us to do. Millions are sitting around with their thumbs on the rapture button waiting to wave good-bye to everyone as they leave. And because so many are focused on getting their portion of this world’s goods before they leave it is hard for many to see the great calling of God on their lives. Heavenly things are out of view, the cares of this life has blinded the Church. Somehow millions of Christians have managed to justify themselves in a self-seeking way that is unparalleled in the history of God’s Church. There are millions of people in this world that have never heard the gospel. If we believe that the world is hearing the gospel through the television preachers that we support, then we are certainly not paying attention to what they preach. Just because they are able to hear TV preachers doesn’t mean they hear the message of salvation. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God but if we only preach on spiritual walk and prosperity or healing, we are not preaching the way to get to Heaven. We must preach how to get in the door in order to be saved and that is only through the cross of Jesus. Although TV ministries go to the whole world it doesn’t mean that the whole world is being taught how to be saved. We must return to the preaching of the cross in order to reach the lost. In the midst of all of these problems and obstacles of getting the Gospel to the whole world it is interesting to note that there has been very little evangelism when it comes to reaching the Jewish people. There is a mountain of things that cause the Christian people to ignore the responsibility to take Jesus to the Jew. Some of the most common is that some believe that the Church has replaced Israel and all of their promises. So in some peoples eyes there is no reason to take the Gospel to the Jew, God is through with them. This is wrong theology and rooted in anti-Semitism and hatred for the natural seed of Abraham. Another belief that is destroying evangelism to the Jew is the belief that since God called them "His Chosen People" that they don’t need to be saved. In fact some of the extremist in this view are men like John Hagee and those that seem to support Israel. They believe that Israel has it’s own covenant with God and that it is a waste of time to share Jesus with them. They believe that we should just be their friends and not witness to them that they’ll be ok. With this idiotic view these poor people are condemned to destruction because of our stupidity. All must come through Christ to be saved both Jew and Gentile. This is what brought Israel’s destruction of the city of Jerusalem in 70AD. They rejected Jesus and he told them that this would happen to them. He didn’t cause it to happen but had they called on him and believed He would have stopped it from happening. The real problem in Israel is that as long as they reject Him there is
always going to be a separation from God. This is why there is no peace
with their enemies. This is what Jesus said, Matthew 23: There are three things to consider in this statement.
The belief that the Israel isn’t going to accept Jesus until he comes back is a deadly poison that plays right into the hands of the Devil. It causes people to see no reason to take the Gospel to the Jew. It is a difficult job to reach the Jewish people with the Gospel and this discourages many from even trying to reach them. But Jesus isn’t coming back until they believe. Is this a shaking statement? It should be if we want him to come back. It will take lots of prayer and lots of love from the Christians in this world to see this happen. Many try to use scriptures out of Zechariah to prove their theology on this but I tell you that what is spoken in Zechariah is an allegory to show how the Jewish people will feel when they come to Christ and are saved. These are the scriptures that they stand on: Notice in verse 12: 10 that it says that he would pour upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and supplications this is speaking of God granting repentance and accepting Jesus to be saved. Then they look upon him. It is the same thing that happens to us in the spirit when we are born again. Jesus gives us grace to come to him and repent through the drawing of the spirit and it is not until this happens that we are able to see him in the spirit. And that is what these scriptures are talking about. Jesus told Nicodemus that a man could not see the kingdom of God until they are born again. This is what happens: the Jewish people repent, accept Jesus and after their eyes are opened they then feel the regret and pain of realizing that their nation rejected him. This is why they mourn. It is with regret that they hadn’t accepted him earlier. And they realize that it was the elders of Israel that had convinced the Romans to crucify Jesus. We all realize that this had to happen in order for us to be saved and Jesus did not hold this to their charge but just think how it feels to a Jew to think about this? Jesus prayed asking the Father to forgive them because they did not know what they were doing. The Gentiles should have done the same. One of the reasons it is so hard to reach the Jewish people is because of the persecution that they have received in the past from so-called Christians. You see the so-called Christian has a terrible past when it comes to the Jew. A real Christian would not have done what has been done to them in the name of the Lord. But it has happened and all of us get the blame for it. When the Crusaders went to deliver Jerusalem during the crusades they were commanded to kill every Jew they could get their hands on by the Pope at that time. They did what they were told to do thinking that it was God’s will. The holocaust was caused by some of the terrible things that Martin Luther wrote concerning the Jews. Hitler took these things along with his writings and caused the extermination of the Jews in the name of God. All this was done without the opposition of the Catholic Pope at that time. Satan has always blamed the Jew for everything that has gone wrong down through the centuries. So-called or misguided Christians have done a tremendous amount of damage and it causes the people of Israel to be on guard around us. When we come preaching Jesus they have to get beyond what has happened to them at the hand of what they believed were Christians. It’s hard and it is going to take prayer in order for God to change their minds. This is the reason God said that he was going to give them the spirit of grace and supplication because he will have to do it. But, this is the reason he wants us to pray and to be supportive to Israel. When the time is right God will give us the opportunity to share Jesus to help them accept him as their savior. Many have already received Christ in America and across the world as well as in Israel itself. But we still have a long ways to go before Christ will come back. The salvation of Israel must be in large enough numbers that he concludes Israel saved. Then he will return, but not until. Israel’s salvation has already begun, especially in the nations, but in Israel itself it is not growing very fast. It meets a lot of opposition by orthodox Jews that feel that Christianity is perverting their nation. Understanding what the Bible has to say about the suffering of Israel during the Tribulation opens the eyes of those that are willing to see. If we are tied down to denominational teaching we will never see until it happens. The Bible calls this time that I am talking about as the time when Zion travails. In Isaiah 66: 8 it says as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. This is speaking of the same time period that Zechariah spoke about when he said that God was going to give Israel the spirit of grace and supplication. This all happens during Israel’s distress. Israel bringing forth her children is revealing that many sons and daughters would be born from her by the Spirit of God. They would have a lot people born again by the Spirit. This will be her time to come to Christ to be saved. Because of the Israel replacement theories we are blinded to many prophecies concerning this woman in travail. Some groups such as Jehovah’s Witness and Seventh Day Adventist believe that their Church group is the Woman in Travail in the 12th chapter of Revelation. Believe it or not this belief has filtered over into many of our independent as well as denominational churches with many at least believing that the Woman is the Church. With this belief we are totally blind to the fact that at the middle of Daniel’s seventieth week or the last seven years years the anti-Christ and his armies will invade Israel. They will escape for three and a half years to be taken care of by other people. Because it is taught that they are going to spend the last three and a half years in a canyon called Petra another stumbling stone is created to cause more blindness. It conveniently removes us from any obligation to help them and that is exactly what the Devil wants. God is going to use people and nations not a canyon in Jordan for their security. He is going to use people to rescue and provide the things that these people need in order to survive the last three and a half years. It is during this time that they will finally come to Christ being taken care of and being fed by Christians that love them and that are able to share with them what is going on. It will be the time that God gives them the spirit of grace and supplication. After they are saved many will share Jesus in the last few years that they have on this earth before the return of Christ. It is your choice to either stand with Jesus or stand with the false teachings of preachers that have no heart or desire for the salvation of God’s children the children of Israel. Start praying and get prepared because what lies just ahead of us is going to be one of the most dramatic moments in the history of the world. The Exodus from Egypt is going to pale compared to the winning of Israel’s souls to Christ. The Exodus was just a shadow of the true deliverance that is coming to Israel. Jesus isn’t coming back until Israel accepts him as lord. According to Isaiah they will be in the rapture and resurrection of the Church as well, so we have our work cut out for us to do. So let’s begin by praying and praying, sharing and sharing that God has a plan for Israel that is not being told. Yours in Christ, |
