The following is an allegory about Israel receiving the Gospel from the Gentiles...Isaiah 60: 16: Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles,
and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

The Creation of Heaven and Earth

The three Earth ages

One thing we need to realize is that God does a lot of things in threes. For example

  • Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Spirit, Soul and Body.
  • The three heavens, our sky or atmosphere that we can see, the solar system that we can see at night and then the heaven that God and his holy angels live in.
  • The old earth age with dinosaurs and cavemen, the modern earth’s age from Adam until Jesus returns and the thousand years are finished, then the new heaven and earth age.

First Earth Age

1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This verse contains the three heavens and the earth for the first earth age. God filled it with strange creatures knowing that this age would produce things for mankind by making fossil fuels, oil, coal etc. This age lasted a long time. Peter told us that a day with the Lord was as a thousand years in other words it can be timeless until God brings it to an end. All of this was created by his word the same as our present earth.

The dinosaurs according to science became extinct over 65 million years ago but lasted a long time from the beginning. They finally died out for a possibility of reasons. Some scientists believe that a giant meteor caused it while others believe that they became extinct when mammals were created. Mammals were small and could avoid being killed by dinosaurs and could have eaten all of the dinosaur eggs causing extinction to the dinosaur.

I was always a Christian that rejected the idea of dinosaurs because I felt that it challenged my faith in God. Many Atheists use this as an excuse not to believe in God. But when we understand why God created the dinosaurs and all the vegetation that came in those days I cannot help but glorify him in what he did. He did all of this and took millions of years to do in order to provide and take care of us today.

Think about this! Up until the 1800’s people used whale blubber and olives for oil. They burned wood and used candles for light. There are billions of people in the world today. All of the oil, coal and natural gas today are needed just to keep us alive in this world. Mankind would have totally lost in the battle to reproduce and have children because we would have died in such large numbers.

Today fossil fuels are used for everything. Almost all of the plastic from bread wrappers to steering wheels in cars comes from oil. Coal is used in great quantities just to produce electricity for our homes. Some people heat with it. We are in such large numbers today that it would be impossible to survive without all of this provision that God has provided for us. He was looking to our future when he created the dinosaurs, just because he loves you and me. During the great flood that followed the water was so deep that most of the earth was under great pressure from the weight of it. This compressed all of the remains of dinosaurs and vegetation into the fossil fuels that we have today. Thank God because he cared.

Cave men did not exist until after the dinosaurs became extinct. They were not people with souls such as Adam that was created a living soul. They were not in the image of God. We all came from Adam in this modern age. Cave men, Neanderthals (3o thousand years to 200 thousand years BC), and Cro-Magnon man (10 thousand to 30 thousand years BC ago).

The Cro-Magnon man was very much like us in appearance, he walked erect, he didn’t have the broad nose or flat forehead. The only thing lacking was that he was not a living soul and wasn’t made in the image of God. I believe that all three of these man-like beings were a prototype of the coming modern earth and that God brought them in stages because of their endurance capabilities. Remember in the first earth age there were still saber-toothed tigers, woolly mastodons and such still on the earth and they had to be able to defend themselves against such brutal animals. There were no dinosaurs to contend with.

Time did not begin until the creation of Adam so this period of time, which is tremendous to us, was just a blink to God. Time as we know it began with Adam in 4004 BC. In Revelation the scripture tells us that there is coming a time when an angel will declare that time shall be no more and this present earth age will come to an end.

It was somewhere around the end of the first age that Satan caused a rebellion in Heaven. Satan and 1/3 of the angels were cast into the earth. This sin was so great that God brought a curse on the Earth itself. When Satan came to this Earth he brought great destruction to the man-like people that lived here.

Isa: 14:12: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

(The word nations: 1471 ywg Gowy (go'-ee); , Strong #: 1471 means "nation or people" usually "non-Hebrew people". This word was used 143 times in the Old Testament.

Isaiah 14:13: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15: Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Ezek:28:14: Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15: Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16: By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Then God brought the first earth age to and end with a huge flood destroying everything. This next verse explains the condition of the earth at that point.

2: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

When looking up the word form and void you will see that it is talking about desolation and ruins of something that once was. Because of the horrible nature of Satan’s sins the earth was covered with darkness, not just in natural light but by evil itself. The Spirit of God according to Strong Concordance was hovering over the earth. I believe that the Spirit of God was grieved over the condition of the earth but also knew that he was about to be involved in the re-creation of it

The Modern Earth Age Begins

(The second earth age)

First day of Creation

Genesis 1:3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5: And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

It is interesting to note that the Sun, Moon and stars of our universe wasn’t created until the fourth day. The light that we are to see is Christ himself who is the giver of life. He came in to divide good from evil and to bring his warmth and life to the world that didn’t have any. In Revelation 21: 21-25 the scripture tells us that we will not need the Sun anymore because Christ himself will give light to everyone for eternity. His warmth and glorious power is what brings life. John 1: 3-10 tells us that this light is also the life. He created the world by using his own life giving power to the creating of it.

Second day of Creation

Genesis 1:6: And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7: And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8: And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9: And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10: And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

This sounds real difficult to understand but when we do it becomes very logical. The firmament that we are looking at in these scriptures is talking about the sky, as we know it to day. He divided the waters raising the upper level above the firmament (sky) and left the lower waters to make seas and lakes and to get the ball rolling for life to survive all over the world. The upper waters were lifted up into space (second heaven) and to this very day we still see this water as it was scattered and frozen into the universe. Asteroids come from comets creating asteroid belts. Since comets are mostly ice the asteroids are too. This is why there is ice in outer space.

Peter spoke of this separation of waters in 2nd Peter.

3: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4: And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5: For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Peter in verse 4 tells us what he is talking about the beginning creation of the present day earth.
In verse 5 he explains the separation of water from the earth that confirms the Genesis account.
Verse 6 he explains that it was the world that was then and that everything perished.
Then he explains in verse 7 that the heavens and earth that are waiting a judgment of fire. This is not Noah’s flood but the creation. Noah’s flood happened during our present day earth. God did not destroy everyone during Noah’s flood. Noah and his family were spared.

Peter did speak of Noah’s flood in 1st Peter 3: 20.
1Pt: 3:20: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

This is a separate account than 2nd Peter 3rd chapter. In this he explains that some people were spared. 2nd Peter is speaking about creation.

Third day of Creation

Genesis 1:11: And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12: And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13: And the evening and the morning were the third day.

One of the things that make this interesting to me is the fact that you need sunshine in our present day for plants and trees to grow. Think about this the Sun and the Moon and Stars are not created until the fourth day and this is only the third day. The answer to this is found on the first day when God sent Jesus the light to separate light from darkness. Once again he is not only the light but also the life. His living giving light brought forth life to all of vegetation and kept it that way until he placed the Sun and the Moon and Stars into their proper places so that things could work naturally.

Fourth day of Creation

14: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16: And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17: And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18: And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19: And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

God placed the Sun, Moon and Stars all into position so that we have days and nights. The Sun for growth, heat and light along with the Moon creating tides in the oceans. Everything including the Stars was set in place for our comfort and benefit.

Fifth day of Creation

20: And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21: And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22: And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Having everything prepared for life to exist he brought birds and fish to fill the air and seas. Once again all for our provision and pleasure.

Sixth day of Creation

23: And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25: And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Noah was told to replenish the earth.

Genesis 9:1: And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
The dictionary says that the word replenish means to fill or make complete again. Which reveals that in Adams case and Noah’s it was a matter of replacement.

Seventh day

Genesis 2:1: Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2: And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3: And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Was God tired? No he was not tired what this meant was that he quit creating the new earth at that point and ceased from his labors. This second chapter tells about the creating of Adam and Eve and his giving them dominion over the earth animals. The reason it talks of creating man twice is for this reason: He tells us that he created man on the sixth day, in chapter two he simply tells us how he did it. There were not two separate creations of man. Adam was first man Adam and him and Eve were the beginning of life for all the rest of us.

The Last Earth Age

The third age or eternal age

The last earth age comes with a transition period that will last for a thousand years before he burns up the modern earth and renovates it for eternity in its final stage. This transition period will come after Christ has returned and judged the world. All the saints will have been changed by that time and will be eternal beings for this transition and the new world to come.

There will be normal people living here that survived the judgment seat of Christ and all of the terrible things that happened at his coming. I believe that most of these will be the children of his enemies that will find mercy because of their youth. During the thousand years the lion will lay down with the lamb, there will be no thorns or thistles to cause them hurt. Snakes will not be feared because they will not harm anyone. There will be no need to lock their doors at night because no one will do them any harm. At the end of this period Satan will be released from prison and will tempt those that are on the earth. Then God will cast him into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone and then the great white throne judgment of God will happen. At the end of this the earth will be renovated by fire and recreated for eternal purpose. Then Heaven itself will come down and be joined with the New Earth and we will spend eternity with God.
